Keyword research and analysis:
Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-value keywords relevant to our industry and target audience. Utilize keyword analysis tools to evaluate search volume, competition, and trends. Optimize website content and structure based on keyword research findings.
On-page and off-page optimization:
Implement on-page optimization techniques, including meta tag creation, keyword placement, and content optimization. Manage link-building activities, monitor backlink profiles, and identify opportunities for acquiring high-quality inbound links.
Technical SEO implementation:
Audit websites for technical SEO issues and provide recommendations for improvement. Ensure proper indexing, crawlability, and website performance. Collaborate with web developers to implement technical changes and resolve any SEO-related issues.
Monitor and analyze website performance:
Track, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics using web analytics tools. Monitor organic search rankings, website traffic, and conversion rates. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance website visibility and performance.
Content optimization:

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. A relevant certification in SEO is a plus.
Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, with a successful track record of implementing SEO strategies and improving organic search rankings.
Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.

1. Keyword research exercise:
Provide a set of hypothetical keywords and ask candidates to conduct keyword research and suggest optimization strategies based on their findings. Ask what tools were used.
2. Technical SEO assessment:
Present a case study or hypothetical website scenario with technical SEO issues and ask candidates to identify the issues and propose solutions and how they got there.
3. SEO analysis and reporting:
Provide a sample website’s analytics data and ask candidates to analyze the data, identify areas of improvement, and create an SEO performance report. I do accept past reports in Data Studio to verify KPI’s being tracked.
